Baby is now the size of a peach!!!
Total wight gain: I didn't weigh myself this week b/c there is probably an unwanted holiday pound or two. I'll check it next week. However now that I am in the 2nd trimester, I am supposed to gain approximately a pound a week.
Maternity cloths: I think I may be offically in maternity clothes. Not so much for the shirts but for the pants. My tummy is big enough now that it needs some extra room.
Sleep: Yes, I think now that we have told everyone we know and I am out of the 1st trimester, I am finally sleeping better. I just feel more at peace about everything.
Best moment last week: We told my family on Christmas eve. I started by saying that I wanted to recite a poem that I had written a few years ago. It is a poem about the emotions and loss that I have experienced over not being able to have a baby. The poem talks a little about God's timing. After I recited the poem I explained how the Holy Spirit had revealed to me that now is the time for me to have a child and how my doctor had confirm it. My little one is one the way! I'm Pregnant! There were lots of hugs and tears. My family all cried out to God with thanks and praised and asked Him to protect this little baby. It was a moment that I will remember for the rest of my life. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family. Their support and love is overwhelming!
Food cravings/adversions: Actually, I finally want some vegetables. I've been eating all rich, filling, holiday foods and my body is screaming for a salad.
What I am looking forward to: I have a doctor's appointment next week Tueday Jan 5th. I am looking forward to hearing that everything is going well and baby is okay.
Milestones: Offically out of my 1st trimester! On to the 2nd!
